Berry & chia overnight oats

A creamy, make-ahead breakfast that supports blood sugar balance and a calm morning routine. Prep takes 5 minutes the night before — future you will be very grateful.

Berry & chia overnight oats

Ingredients

  • 160g (1½ cups) rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 400ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 100g natural Greek yoghurt
  • 120g mixed frozen berries
  • 1–2 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Toppings: fresh berries, 1 tbsp almond butter per serve, toasted flaked almonds

Method

  1. Add oats, chia seeds, almond milk, yoghurt, vanilla, and maple syrup to a jar or container. Stir well to combine.
  2. Fold through frozen berries — they'll thaw overnight and add natural sweetness.
  3. Seal and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  4. In the morning, give it a stir and add a splash more milk if you prefer a looser consistency.
  5. Top with fresh berries, a dollop of almond butter, and toasted almonds. Serve straight from the jar.

doTERRA oil tip: Stir in 1 drop of Wild Orange oil with the oats before refrigerating for a sunny citrus note that pairs beautifully with the berries. A tiny drop goes a long way.
