Breakfast · 5 Min · Serves 2
Ingredients
- 160g (1½ cups) rolled oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 400ml unsweetened almond milk
- 100g natural Greek yoghurt
- 120g mixed frozen berries
- 1–2 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Toppings: fresh berries, 1 tbsp almond butter per serve, toasted flaked almonds
Method
- Add oats, chia seeds, almond milk, yoghurt, vanilla, and maple syrup to a jar or container. Stir well to combine.
- Fold through frozen berries — they'll thaw overnight and add natural sweetness.
- Seal and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- In the morning, give it a stir and add a splash more milk if you prefer a looser consistency.
- Top with fresh berries, a dollop of almond butter, and toasted almonds. Serve straight from the jar.
doTERRA oil tip: Stir in 1 drop of Wild Orange oil with the oats before refrigerating for a sunny citrus note that pairs beautifully with the berries. A tiny drop goes a long way.
Marcia's tip: Batch these up in 4 jars on Sunday. Grab and go all week. Perfect for busy school mornings too.
